Lacrim

From the very beginning, Lacrim has embodied the spirit of the street. At first as an independent artist, his authenticity was expressed through his rocky voice that slammed on dark beats. This is a trademark that he will keep throughout his career. “D’où je viens tu connais”, “Qu’un homme et fier de l’être”, “S’il vous plaît” are the first successes of this generous artist, always working on new projects to satisfy his public.

His first album became the most awaited event of the French rap scene and in this instance Corleone did not disappoint. As its name suggests it, the project is inspired by the mafia universe (“Mon glock te mettra à genoux”, “On fait pas ça”) which is lightened by more upbeat tracks like “Barbade” and “Tout le monde veut des lovés”. The machine seems to be launched but the justice catches up with him.

This prison episode increases Lacrim’s creativity tenfold. With “Force et Honneur”, he mixes together his history, his music and cinema. This second album launches his series in which he plays his own role. Karim Zenoud leaves his mark on the world with this unique tour de force within the French rap industry.
